Nougat There are two main ways to update Android phone first one is OTA update, can
be done directly from phone settings.

the second way is manually update through Odin software Using
computer.Before proceed to update your
phone, here are some check list to follow- check battery %Should have at least 50% battery power.
keep a copy of
important Data to SD card Turn on USB
debugging on your phone. check description below the video to activate USB
debugging.Install USB driver for your
Android phone on computer.

speed Go to your phone settings tap on
About device option.
Now Tap on Download updates manually If its show The latest updates have already
been installed then your device have not received the firmware yet If the firmware is available then tap on ok to start
download and installation process Your
device will automatically restart during the update process. now how to download
and installla test Android firmware
manually through Odin.
first download the firmware for your phone Download link available in the description
Below after finishing download Extract the downloaded zip file. You should get .tar
.md5 file along with few other files Second, download the latest Odin software and extract the zip
file.
you should get odin application file having .exe File
extension,along with few other
files.Third, now run in application as
an administrator right-click on in
application and choose run as
Administrato ;Fourth, Switch off and boot your phone into download mode by
pressing and holding the Volume
Down+Home+Power buttons together. long press until the boot screen
appears.A Warning message will flash then
press volume up key to proceed to download mode.Fifth, now connect your phone to computer Via phone usb
cable.In Odin screen,
You should see a COM
port number at ID:COM section and added text at the message box This means your device has been successfully detected
by odin Make sure that only the Auto
Reboot and F. Reset Time options are checked in Odin
screen Now click on the AP button and select the .tar. md 5 file that you get by extracting the firmware
zip file in the step 1now, Click on the
start button to begin the installation process and wait a few
moments.once completed, You would see
PASS! message in ID COM port having green background....
